ESPN has Adams as our highest rated WR in this class. If that is true, this WR class has the opportunity to be legendary considering the numbers Goree, Davis and Rutherford put up this year.

They never got around to rating Goree or Rutherford and they won't either, because they didn't commit to a P5 school. But you know how that works. Goree is a 3-star on rivals, 247, and scout though.

Yes, the recruiting class is downright filthy at receiver. Adams should be very good and if for some reason receiver doesn't work out I think he has the fluidity to be a very good defensive back. Will be fun to watch all these young guys compete at receive next year.

This could be known as the best UNT recruiting year of receiver prospects we have seen!

For fun, how would you rate this crop of WR recruits against Dodge's first class, with Marcus King, Sam Roberson, etc...

On paper, Dodge's class might win. But remember how that class worked out. The best WR recruit Dodge had that year by far was a walk-on from Coach Dickey's scout team.

Looks like Arkansas is coming to the party.

Yup

He then retweeted two people saying UNT had a better record than arkansas and that we can produce better than our neighbors to the east. We knew he was a big time recruit. If we can keep Goree at UNT then it will be the biggest sign of our recruiting improving this cycle.

With his talent, he should be no one's second, third or fourth choice. For Arkansas to be this late to the party on a talent like him, it should show him something about them.

Yeah, we should keep him. If he takes a visit to arkansas then things will get very scary.

Hey guys, recruiting at the NCAA FBS level has its ups and downs (as most of you already know)....as in many moments of unbridled enthusiasm with some signings and then those moments you lost one you would have bet an entire years salary we would never lose generating a feeling as if you just backed over your favorite hunting dog in your pickup truck.

Nevertheless, it's still quite habit forming to follow all this, now isn't it? :)

GMG!

PS: Best rule of thumb is to just try to put yourselves in the shoes of some of these 17 and 18 year olds.
