UNT Commit #7 - Running Back Andrew Tucker From Chapel Hill

Busy day in Mean Green Land!!

Love to see these kids jumping on board, although I'd like to see a more solid committ from Tucker.

I don't remember ever seeing two kids commit from the same school that are of the same position.

That's gotta pretty rare.

Agreed and though I would LOVE 4 Chapel Hill commits in 2 yrs....I don't want a "soft commit" type personality to wear green. Sorry. Though Rex had less yardage last year you could see that change this year since he is healthy.

From this morning's Tyler Morning Telegraph article related to Tucker commitment:

“Tucker (5-11, 190), the younger brother of TCU running back Matthew Tucker, rushed for 1,063 yards and 14 touchdowns on offense last season for Chapel Hill in helping the Bulldogs reach the Class 3A Division I state championship game.

Defensively, he made 113 tackles (12 for loss) with two sacks, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown.

Tucker joins senior teammates Rex Rollins and Sir Calvin Wallace, who both pledged to North Texas earlier this summer.”
