Man the theme of this year so far is "who would like their career ruined?"

First Ash and now June. Who's next?!

If true, good for everyone. SMU was spiraling and we really want them playing well when we meet again.

This pretty much destroys their season this year. There is no way they'll find a coach mid-season and will have to wait until the regular season is over before people will even return phone calls. Recruiting will also take a huge hit.

Those SMU recruits should do what the SMU "fans" couldn't and make the trip 30 miles North.

What about his charity SMU?

Think of the children!

I hate to think little ole UNT caused them grief. This is your fault SMU.

So, hey Billy McCrary... remember us? We'd still love for you to be a part of this thing. C'mon over to the GREENer side.

According to Leigh Steinberg via Twitter, "June had felt for some time he had accomplished his mission to turn around program and needed a break."

Pretty low bar he set there.

Wow! And frankly, good for them. They will be better off long term but this year is going to be terrible.

How would you like to be the interim coach faced with getting ready for an A&M team that feels the need to run up the score to try to prove themselves!

SMU will start this season 0-6 for certain!

You don't want your Head football coach involved in a dead hooker scandal.

Craig James knows all about paying players AND getting rid of witnesses. He's perfect!
