Great breakdown as usual!

One thing I would add, in your section:

"Don’t let Higgins get comfortable. He is not a great QB and not comfortable with reading defenses. If you take away his first read and force him to make plays from the pocket he will struggle."

I would even go a step further and say you need to punish him as you did Montana. Not saying illegally or anything like that but if he wants to run the ball you have to smash him LEGALLY every chance you can.

The other thing that worries me is we have been very susceptible to QB draws and QB scrambles when the wide receivers are covered up. I almost think you have to put a shadow on this QB on third down plays.. he is a better athlete than Montana was.

Last point -- I have been pleasantly surprised with the pressure our front four have gotten this season but we REALLY need them to convert some of these pressures into sacks in this game. It wouldn't surprise me to see Skladany hit them with some early blitzes to shake things up. I get the feeling that Higgins will play better as his confidence builds in a game so we need to take him out of his game early on.

This should be a very entertaining and close game! GMG!

So basically, hit him the same way we hit Montana, right?

Thank you Sir.

If UNT hits this kid the same way they hit Montana well then expect to see Scotty Young. He looks fragile to me.

You never want to see a young QB get comfortable. Him being comfortable means added confidence, which will lead him to play better. I think UNT will do a good job of keeping him off balance.

Hit him till he quits.

I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to go on over to our site and look at the breakdown. Hopefully you get something out of it. We try to give you guys and gals as much information as we can going into a game. At least as much as we have time to review. Again many thanks to all you Mean Green fans out there!
