A little birdie sent me this shot from inside UNT's new football stadium today.

Something like Howard's Rock? A bronze eagle? A miniature wind turbine?

Stay tuned...

I honestly don't remember where I heard this, but someone told me a few months ago that an old fraternity on campus (from a good while back) donated a big statue of an eagle in flight, and that the team would touch it on the way out of the locker room. I may be a little off on the exact details, but that was the general idea of what I was told...

Miniature wind turbine ... imagine the carnage from the severed limbs.

You are correct Mean Green Matt. It will be a bronze eagle donated by a fraternity.

And I was hoping it would be a statue of Kermit the Frog to remind the players as they took the field to play hard because it isn't easy being green.

You know what would be perfect? Someone who says he knows what's there, doesn't want to spoil the surprise, and then posts a comment for Brett as such. Totally awesomely pointless.

Wait. done.

Is #reasonsweloveinternet a Twitter trend, yet?

Statue of Todd Dodge?

As long as its not a Unicorn, Im okay with it.

Believe me, a HS in New Branfuls slaps the ass of a Unicorn statue when they run out onto the field

If it's bronze then being outside will slowly turn it green. It'll be more of a blue-green but still ...

A mold of Fritz Von Erich's hand in his famous "iron claw" hold...

But an eagle would be as awesome...

I heard it was a plaque that said "North Texas". That way when the players walk by they'll know who they are.

Winner.

Thank you for the genuine laugh first thing this morning.

Will the plaque be green or white?

What color green?

Black, white or gray accents?

Room for stickers?

Will the current logo/font be used or will a new one need to be commissioned?

Will the SOW/SEW/SO/SOUGH be included on the plaque?

These are pressing offseason issues and demand answers. :sword:
