North Texas 2013 Football Schedule

Unless something changed recently, that Rice date is wrong. I confirmed with someone in the athletic department two weeks ago that the Rice game will be on Halloween.

Interesting. It's listed as 10/31 on North Texas' site, but still says 11/2 on Rice's site. Haven't seen any formal announcement about the move.

I was curious about this game as well because there hadn't been any announcement about the date change and the national broadcast. I don't want to reveal my source, but a football player that I've been working on semester-long group projects with told me that the game will be on ESPN. Whether that's actually ESPN or if it's ESPN2, I do not know, but that is the information he gave me.

It was confirmed a week ago by C-USA. We also heard tonight it will be only college game on TV that night. A 6:00 start was mentioned as a probability.

I've been searching every week to see if the date for Homecoming had been set, so I can put in for vacation for that Friday. It looks like it finally has - the UTEP game on Nov. 9th. I guess that's the only real choice - the MUTS game on 10/12 is the same day as UT-OU, and the UTSA on 11/23 is getting pretty late.

Can we drive them all the way there? We really only need one. Just keep driving it all over the country to the HC games of everybody we play. We could make a documentary about it and sell copies to raise money.

Wouldn't it be a hoot to be in the Tulane Homecoming Parade ? And all the homecoming games we play in this year. A Mean Green float throwing out green candy to the kids. What a way to introduce ourselves to CUSA. Rent a pick up at the local Home Depot, cover it with Kleenex stuffed chicken wire, spray painted green, and presto....MEAN GREEN FLOAT.

is there a thread where we specifically talk about which away games we are going to so that we can coordinate the beer drinking?

UTSA is the only opponent who had a win over a FBS school in week 1

Happy for UTSA...it will also give UNT a bit more "street cred" when UNT beats them since they have this win! Happy for our fellow CUSA member!

Looking over this, now that the dates are closer, the November games are going to be hard to find on TV it looks like. CSS & TW Texas... I will start making calls to find out if any sports bars have them. I certainly don't have them at home.
