Before Tony Mitchell left for the FIBA U-19 World Championships in Latvia this summer, North Texas coach Johnny Jones gave his freshman one bit of advice: Just go out there and play.

Getting caught up in the situation would have been easy for the former Dallas Pinkston standout.
