Is Virginia good this season? I know they're ACC and they always seem to be a more than respectable basketball program but should our boys be able to get a win against them?

I think they may be the Big XII equivalent to a Tech or Okie State.

They were a 10 seed in the NCAA tournament last year...got bounced in the first round.

Looks like they graduated 5 of their top 8...a bit of a rebuild, but would still be a really nice win

Those teams are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Tech has arrow pointed down and okie state has arrow pointed way, way up.

This was probably as good as I have seen/heard the guys this year. Franklin had an awesome game, and I LOVE this stat: Fast break points-IUPUI 4,NT 20. IMO, winning this stat will be a key indicator that Benford's system is actually working.

I'll still say there's worry, but if we can beat Virginia (who trounced Lamar) at their house, I'll feel much better about this thing turning around.

i had that we win by 14, but then changed it for a nice number of 15. Damn, I should have stuck with 14 and then I would be seen as a prophet of sorts.

Agreed. In fact. CJ has 32 assists to only 15 turnovers through the first 5 games. I know this may be premature, but at this rate he could make a serious run at the school record set by Walter Johnson in 76-77 with 208.
