BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Coming off a 38-21 victory over South Carolina State, the Indiana football team (1-2, 0-0 Big Ten) heads to Denton, Texas, to face North Texas (0-3, 0-1 Sun Belt) at Apogee Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 24. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CDT/7 p.m. EDT and ESPN3 will broadcast the game. The Mean Green fell to No. 2/2 Alabama, 41-0, in Tuscaloosa last weekend.

Shawn Kenney (play-by-play) and Drew Henson (analyst) will call the game on ESPN3. The game can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network and Sirius 113 with Don Fischer (play-by-play), Buck Suhr (analyst) and Joe Smith (pre-game, halftime and post-game) on the call.

I'm pretty sure they've been called the Hoosiers since 1988.

I dunno. I seem to remember a few years when Thanksgiving beat us pretty bad. Similar to several recent posts about Alabama, many distraught fans posted about how we shouldn't play Thanksgiving anymore.
