GREAT NEWS FOR UNT CHEER AND SCRAPPY!

The UNT cheerleaders won a silver paid bid to College Nationals this year and they were voted as the Most Spirited Collegiate Team at camp (this was voted on by the entire camp and staff). And to top it off....both Scrappy's were awarded Best All Around Collegiate Mascot beating out OSU and TECH! CONGRATULATIONS COACH TRACIE O'NEAL and UNT CHEER!! GO MEAN GREEN!

And remember, this is the squad that several of you help support through the annual GMG.Com basketball game as players, sponsors, donors and volunteers.

Your support helps these great Cheer Squad members know that the Mean Green Nation supports and appreciates what they do in support of UNT.

Way to go Coach O'Neal and UNT Cheer. Good luck at Nationals.

And, let me remind everyone...these student Cheer Squad members do not receive scholarships as do many of the members of teams they were competing against...like OSU for example.

Great job team, and another reason why the help we give through the GMG.Com basketball event each year is so welcome and so appreciated.

There will have to be a third when baseball comes around.
