Thanks guys. I always love the podcasts.

Go La Tech! Beat Southern Miss!

Go Mean Green! Beat La Tech!

Go FAU! Beat Southern Miss!

All quite possible.

If these things happen and we take care of business in the games we're highly favored to win, then we will very likely host the CUSA Championship Game.

North Texas was the sweetheart of the first half of last season, let's be the sweetheart of the second half of this season.

I wasn't so convinced the loss of Rico would be so huge for us.  Maybe I need to reconsider.

Losing players and requiring the next man to step up is part of football.

Last year we had to escape the Alamo Dome by the skin of our teeth against nUTSACK’s back up QB.

Rice came in and played us tight til the 4th qtr with their 5th string QB.

This year Houston drills us with their back up QB and a back up WR on 6 day’s notice.

UAB lost what, 35 Seniors from last years team and, even though they haven’t played anyone really yet here they are again with last year’s back ups sitting at 5-1, 2-1 in conference and statistically the 7th best defense in the nation.

And if it’s consistency your looking for in CUSA look no further than La Tech.

Since joining CUSA in 2013 they’re 51-34.

This span includes three 9 win seasons, one 8 win season, one 7 win season, are currently 5-1 and have 5 Bowl championships.  THAT’S FIVE BOWL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SIX YEARS!

And that’s all with some of the sorriest, poor-ass looking state funded facilities you’ll ever find on any college campus.

Do this and win our bowl game and BOOM:  10 win season.
