Episode 151?  We salute you Dan McCarney.  Sure, you ran things into the ground but 2013 was still a vintage year.  This episode starts with the boys lamenting another tough loss , this time against FCS opponent Portland not-a-State.   Boy howdy that was not too fun!  Next, a quick subject change over to the Coach Mac dismissal after the loss and why it needed to happen and how he managed to keep it classy ($),   Plenty of organic New Head Coaching Candidate talk as UNT starts a national search for our next leader to follow Danny Mac.  Coach Chico, paging Coach Chico!  Yes we have an audio interview from Mike Canales our new interim head coach to share. Johnny on the spot student representative Big Brandon Berens joins us via the telephone to share his thoughts on the Mac dismissal from the student side of the stadium and the hot spots he frequents in Denton.

So yes we're 0-5 but dammit every week brings us a new experience and and new sense of hope that we will indeed win our first game.  As usual, we shoot straight with the North Texas fan who frankly may be a more than a little down right now.  Of course the Thursday night scrum with Western Kentucky deserves some time as well and we oblige.  Almost two hours of Mean Green and all that entails this week with a heapin helpin of fan comments from the live broadcast to keep us honest.

All of this and so much more can be yours by clicking the friendly link below.  Happy listening and GO MEAN GREEN!

Listened to it on the way to work this morning. As always, good stuff guys. Y'all make the commute from Denton to Dallas a little more bearable Thursday mornings!

Didn't make it all the way through yet as it's a long one, but enjoyed Harry's take on things and found myself agreeing out loud.

We really need a recruiter for our next coach.

Interesting as usual, but there were a few who thought the extension for RV was foolish at the time.  Not because of McCarney performance, but because it accomplished nothing but exposing the school to exactly what happened.

Enjoyed the first part, kinda tuned out at the dismissal of the movement to fire RV. I guess, because he helped get a stadium built, he is UNT AD for life.

I know y'all won't come out and be super critical of RV, but y'all didn't have to go out of your way to basically defend him.

And sure, there were people okay with the extension, but there were plenty who saw it completely unnecessary.
