The USA after three games is outrebounding its opponents by 10.3 boards a game. In addition to McDermott’s effort on the glass, Tony Mitchell (North Texas/Dallas, Texas) is grabbing a team high 9.0 rpg., while centers Patric Young (Florida/Jacksonville, Fla.) and Meyers Leonard (Illinois/Robinson, Ill.) are credited with 7.7 and 5.0 rebounds, respectively.

Digging around some Euroleague websites, I found a group doing pace/time-adjusted Player Efficiency rankings for the U-19 championships.

They've got Tony Mitchell as the most efficient guy on team USA, and 6th overall (lottery pick Jonas Valanciunas is tops).

Also, for anyone interested... Former UNO superstar Bo McCalebb is doing VERY well for himself playing international ball. He's the 22nd highest paid player in Europe (making more than Allen Iverson), and he's got a 4 year deal that pays him a million and a half dollars per year.

I still have nightmares of McCalebb. I'm glad he is doing well , he deserves it.

@ the half USA up on Lithuania 49 - 39. T Mitch has 3 pts , 5 rbs & 2 stls

Thanks for the update. Do you know how many minutes he played in the 1st half?

Tony moved up to 3rd in Player Efficiency after today. Valanciunas is still 1st.
