Credit Dr. Rawlins for trying to improve UNT on several fronts; now he aims at marketing and perception of the school's image.
Deborah Leliaert, vice president for public relations at UNT, said the university is re-establishing its message.
“We are not redoing all of our graphics and everything,” she said.
The university’s formal request for proposals states that the goal for the project is to “develop a comprehensive brand strategy for the University of North Texas.”
The work will include four components:
* brand platform development and implementation;
* football stadium promotions and marketing;
* evaluation and development of new and social media; and
* evaluation and development of news services.
