Multiple sources have confirmed to gomeangreen.com that Texas A&M Commerce Head Coach Jason Burton will be named the new Head Coach of the North Texas WBB team, the 9th in team history. Burton compiled a record of 171-90 in 9 Seasons in Commerce. He has only had one season below 500. during his tenure. Burton is the all-time winningest coach in Texas A&M Commerce program history. He holds the program records for wins, conference wins and winning percentage.
