Great segment to watch. Glad we have Mason Fine as our QB. He is a great football player and an even better man. He is a great representative of UNT.

Great episode. Clear to see why he’s so successful. We’re lucky to have the dude leading us out of the FBS cellar and towards achieving the potential we all know exists at UNT.

I gotta admit - this one really choked me up.  Damn I love this kid.  What an awesome family and story.

Emotionally POWERFUL! Damn! My support for Mason Fine just keeps getting stronger. Wow, what a presentation. And no, that's not Visine running down my cheeks.

This actually got me laughing.

Good segment. His parents have to be 2 of the proudest people in Apogee every Saturday.

I'm part Irish and Scottish so yes, the "onions were being cut" near my desktop especially toward the end of that video with Fine's mom
& dad on their living room sofa.

What a story Mason Fine is and all who raised & knew him growing up.  Already posted that video on my Facebook page--I hope others will do the same.

What a story this Mean Green football team is becoming, too.   It's takes a team to do it all.

GMG!

Wow, that was a great one.  We are proud at UNT to have him here.  He is a leader and example for others to follow.  His parents did a great job rasing him.   Glad his parents took the time to help reach towards his goals.  Next goal for him is a big win at Pigville.  I wonder if we will ever see another Mason Fine at UNT.

Please pardon me for using my son’s log on, but I got tossed a couple of years ago during the furor that arose when Littrell burned Mason’s redshirt and started him ahead of that Bama guy.

I said then that UNT will be better not just because Mason is a great QB, but because of the human being he is. I’m thrilled for him and your university that things are working out. People will still be talking about Mason Fine and UNT 25 years from now. All because of the person he is.

If you haven’t seen it before, give this video a watch as well.  It includes footage of some of what Mason talks about in Born and Bred.  It has a happy ending with a signing with North Texas.

I think Mason's lost teammate and friend is smiling down on him today. Great job Mason and crew on well deserved win.  In the words of Hans Solo "dont get cocky"

Just now, Christopher Walker said:

I saw Mason's dad and HS coach on the concourse during halftime. I just thanked them profusely.

He was sitting in E120 a few rows behind me on probably the 15th row.  I noticed him when a media person came over to ask him something. I think he sent her away because he was laser focused on ever play.  He was a good sport, most of us were probably being loud and annoying. 😁
