Thank you, thank you so much for all your hard work. Things are so much better now than they were before you came here.

I sit here today, 2 days away from turning 21, and a normal student my age would be excited to be able to finally drink legally, however that's not the case, I sit here today excited to watch my team play in the palace they so desperately deserved. My first game was homecoming vs. NMSU in 2004, only 14 years old at the time my mom drove myself and 4 friends to the game, saw Buckles light up a WR coming across the middle and I fell in love. Since then we have all been die-hards, it's been very difficult no doubt with kids my age and trying to explain to them the culture change but we are no doubt a legitimate division 1 university who is, all things considered in my opinion the class of the sun belt. Once you add a winning football program in, we're head and shoulders above the other programs.

From the bottom of my heart, as a die-hard lifer who even bought season tickets this season instead of just getting in free, thank you, thank you so much for bringing us this palace and I can't wait to see the mean green take down Houston.

Sincerely, Jake Wilson & the rest of us.

What a great post. I graduate Spring 2012 and couldn't of said it any better. Keep inviting and encouraging fellow students to support athletics! And as Kram always says.

WHY NOT.... meh.. I'll let him use his phrase!

Oh believe me, I have about 20 people confirmed for the opening game. Students from Tarleton, Tx State, TCU, NCTC, CCCC. Some were hard sells, but I bugged them enough to get a yes.

And my parents who have never been to a game despite living in Aubrey for 53 years will be in my two seats on the alumni side, even bought them hats and shirts for opening day. I'll be over with my friends on the student side going crazy, can not wait for this, it's been a long time coming.

It's the reason why I have 5 season tickets and live in Sarasota Florida. It's the reason the only condition I had when accepting a new position was dates off for UNT games. Couldn't sum it up and better, and that was a heck of a hit, that was my first homecoming as an alumni.

I'll say it for Kram and others as well:

WHY NOT NORTH TEXAS & GMG!
