28 on back of Heart of Dallas Helmets

I love the Chrome!  The players seem to like it.

 Hope it becomes our #1 helmet.

I like the chrome helmet also; especially with a green jersey.

But, the original post had to do with the #28 on the back of the helmet (which I missed).  That retired number belongs to Abner Haynes.  The first thing that I thought of was that Abner had passed away.  I'm pretty sure that hasn't happened or it's the best kept secret in the country.  I'm reasonably sure that a player from 2015 was killed in a car wreck but he wasn't wearing 28.
